After you have viewed our nursery and to secure your child’s nursery place please fill out the following forms (childcare agreement and child’s personal record form) along with a £50 deposit.

Child's Personal Record

Once we have received the completed forms and deposit we will be in touch to book your child’s induction date.

Under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which came into effect from September 2008 and revised in September 2012, we are legally required to establish who has Parental Responsibility of every child in our care.

What is Parental Responsibility?
‍A married couple who have children together both automatically have parental responsibility.  Parental responsibility continues after divorce.Mothers automatically have parental responsibility.
‍
Where parents are not married the father has parental responsibility if:
His name is registered on the birth certificate (after 1 December 2003).
He later marries the mother.
Both parents have signed an authorised Parental Responsibility Agreement.
He obtains a Residence Order from the Court.
He becomes the child’s guardian.

Childcare Agreement

This agreement is between: Midgies' Child Care Ltd trading as The Jumbles Children's Nursery.
Ofsted Registration EY484861.

Opening times – Monday - Friday:
Full Day - 7.30am – 6.00pm Morning Session – 7.30am – 12.30pm Afternoon Session – 1.00pm – 6.00pm
Closed:- Bank Holidays and Christmas (Dates to be confirmed each year)

Four weeks notice required on either side or full fee in lieu of notice.

Late Collection Fee £5.00 per 5 minutes.
‍
Parents to provide:-
Bag with change of clothes.
Drinking cup/bottle.
Breast/formula milk.
Sun hat.

I understand that the setting operates an open access to information policy and I am very welcome during normal opening hours to view the policies and procedures under which it runs.  I am also aware that they are pleased to arrange meetings to discuss problems, children’s work and records at any mutually agreeable time, even outside normal hours if necessary.

I have been shown the Policies & Procedures Manual which governs the way in which the setting operates.  I understand that they will care for my child in line with this document and I consent to them caring for my child within that framework.  In particular I give my permission for them take my child on outings, administer medication, handle emergencies and control my child within those policies.

I also understand that the staff cannot undertake the care of sick children (in particular those with an infectious disease, diarrhoea, vomiting and high temperatures)

Where are we?
We are located in the beautiful village of Edgworth, Bolton.  The nursery is located on the ground floor, with separate baby room facilities, toddler room , pre-school room with messy area and outdoor play area.  We also have ample car parking facilities.
