7.Jan 2009 All seems well this morning, although the roads are very icy. There doesn’t appear to be any more snow and we are open as usual! Please take care making your way to nursery and do not enter the car park as you will not be able to get back out again! During times of adverse weather we will do everything we can to ensure the nursery remains open. However, for the safety of the children, parents and staff we had to make the decision to close the nursery yesterday. Today the weather seems to have settled and we are pleased to say that we are open as usual! There are mixed [...] Thanks to the hard work of the team at Jumbles and the tremendous support from our parents we have managed to rise a fantastic £688.21 for Children In Need. The event started on Friday 13th November with our ‘Big Quiz Night’, where parents and friends joined us for a light hearted quiz and pie and pea supper. The [...] We are very sad to announce that Felicity from our Toddler Room has decide to leave Jumbles to take up a role of Domiciliary Care Worker and eventually persue her dream career of nursing. We all wish Felicity well for the future and would also like to welcome two new members of staff to our [...] Michelle is pleased to announce that she is expecting her first baby in February 2010! She will be taking maternity leave in the new year and will return later in the year with her new arrival. Congratulations! The photographer from Yoo Uk Ltd visited nursery on Friday 5th June and took some great photos of the children. The proofs are now available and need to be back at nursery with orders by 3rd July 2009. Take a look at the fantastic products available www.u-yoo.co.uk Friday 22nd May 2009- Jumbles first trip out! A fantastic day out for all the children and their parents when we visited ‘Blue Planet Aquarium’ at Ellesmere Port. The exciting journey began at 9.30am as we left nursery on a coach (a first time experience for most of the children!) and arrived at the aquarium at 11am. The children were [...] Ofsted have carried out an Inspection on 16th April 2009 and thanks to the hard work of all our staff and children we were very pleased to be graded ’Good’ in all aspects of the nursery and received many positive comments throughout the report.
